Mayden is hosting a Digital Showcase on March 23rd 2023 with the aim to create a space for those working in children and young people’s mental health (CYPMH) to find out more about the digital solutions available to support their service.
Research demonstrates that over half of all mental health issues start before the age of 14, with 75% starting by 24 years of age. Therefore, it’s vital that providers of CYPMH services can offer children and young people early access to mental health support, when it’s needed. If we can treat young people early and effectively, it improves their wellbeing at that point in time and reduces the risk of them going on to develop longer term mental health conditions.
There are opportunities for digital technology to support those with mental health needs at every step in their journey. We believe that digital options, whether they are patient facing apps, digital therapy platforms or clinical software – deliver the most value when they work together to support continuity and quality of care.

The aim of Mayden’s Digital Showcase is to inform CYPMH services on what is safe, effective and appropriate to use in services for children and young people – and to help address the challenges services are facing right now.
We are committed to working in collaboration with other technology providers to ensure that patient data flow supports the best experience for therapists and their patients. Providers of NHS community health services are already adopting a wide range of digital offers that can help children and young people to understand and manage their mental health issues, as well as to get help and for referral to specialist services.
